The basic chain is the POW+POS consensus mechanism, and the expansion chain is Demos consensus mechanism. This consensus mechanism is characterized by wide distribution of nodes, strong work efficiency, and short block time.
The official DEMOS ticker is “DOS” and trades under that name on all the exchanges where it has been listed. The designation “DEMOS” is for CryptoCompare.com only.
